Why a Certified ScrumMaster course?

The ScrumMaster is a leader and a change agent on a mission. His or her duty is to make a Scrum development team successful. Throughout this course you can experience how to professionally take up the role of a Change Agent using Scrum as your Swiss army knife.

The vision for this course is that you learn that working together can create outstanding results. This is why it includes lots of hands-on exercises.

During the CSM course we will teach you how to make a development team, a project or an organisation agile and successful.

If you are a practising ScrumMaster, this is the course for you. You will gain many insights into the practice of good Scrum and Agile. You will return to work full of new ideas to help your team improve.

If you are a Scrum novice or sceptic this course is also for you. You will get a rapid immersion into Scrum and understand what it is…and is not. You will leave with concrete ideas for implementing this way of working in your organisation, if you wish to.

Why a Certified Scrum Product Owner course?

The Scrum Product Owner must lead the project strategically, collaborate with customers and team on a daily basis, and manage the business value.

The Scrum Product Owner takes back the accountability from the traditional project manager for delivering the right solution to the customer and end-user.

The CSPO course will provide you with the core of skills to support this new and awesome responsibility.

The CSPO course is aimed at practising product owners. It is also valuable for business analysts in Scrum teams who work closely with their product owners. And lastly it is useful for ScrumMasters and Agile coaches who need to know about the product role in detail so that they are able to coach their own product owners.

Why a Kanban course?

Kanban is a recent style of process thinking that has developed from Lean and Agile. It is often used in contexts where Scrum is not the best fit. Common examples include operations teams, where work is more reactive than planned and cross-functional teams are hard to achieve. The new “DevOps” movement is a good example of where to apply Lean and Kanban. Kanban training will teach you the theory and equip you with the essentials to start a Kanban implementation in your organisation. You will leave with concrete practices you can implement the very next day and begin your journey towards mastery.

Who should attend?

The CSM course is an ideal stepping stone into the Scrum world and can be attended by team members, project managers, team leaders, senior management etc. This also creates the foundation for a deep understanding of Scrum for experienced ScrumMasters. Even people who attended this class three times offer the feedback they can still learn a lot.

The CSPO course is intended for those already active in Scrum’s product owner role as well as business analysts, managers, facilitators and coaches within organisations adopting Scrum. ScrumMasters who need to coach their product owners will benefit too!

The Kanban course is for internal Agile coaches and team members wanting to start or improve Kanban implementations in their organisation.
